I have a 99 300 4 trax and my brakes seem to have disappeared. It has been losing over the past several months. I have not done anything yet. Just looking for some direction. Thank you!

start with down loading the service manual from the site here, give it a good read .

Check your fluid level (the fronts are hydraulic) and for fluid leaks. The shoes are adjusted by means of the cylinder pawls.

Your rear brake is cable operated and adjusted using the wing nuts.

You need to review the service manual to understand exactly how to DIY.

Thanks for the suggestions! I do have a manual downloaded and the factory one as well. It’s actually a 90 model not 99? I will begin the process soon, Happy Thanksgiving!
