Resale red as they say. My favourite color for that body style was white.

Did not see any white plastics for this model from the state side, guess this is a Canada version only ?. even if they did sell white plastics here for this model, i'd pass on them, shows too much dirt..lol. as you know, i'm not a mud person at all, at least not driving into it on purpose !..lol.

Shows dirt but it hides the scratches and dullness. I think it was around 2008-2009 they were offered in white.

Hey man! Now you're getting into what I know!

White was a 2008 color. 05-09 and 2011 (no 2010 model) are pretty much the same. The 05-06 had two tail lights and the 07-up had a single in the cargo box lid.

05-08 had a weak first gear. 09-11 they improved the design and if you're splitting cases it's easy to replace while you're in there. New gearset is about $50.

I got a parts bike a couple of years ago that was yellow. Couldn't give those plastics away (they weren't in great shape, but still).

Red, yellow, green, black, white, and camo are all available for that bike. Dark Blue too (only on the 05-06 2wd machines though, so no blue pod light cover is available as the 2wd didn't come with the top light).

You got a great deal on that if it's complete. Disc brakes, selectable 4wd, and the last of the air cooled Honda designs.
They offered the Rubicon in that blue also, so the pod cover should be available that way.

( have not looked to see what brand though ? ). the guy said he had some clutch work, and top end work done, new cam chain, then it just stopped , won't turn over, nothing..so he say's ?, have not had a chance to inspect it yet ?, still in the back of my truck..lol. I think I did great for 600 bucks, 9 hours of driving, and 40 bucks in gas..lol.
I take it you either strapped that quad to the roof of a VW Jetta or gas is much cheaper where you are at lol.

lmao^^^, gas is about $ 2.15 a gallon here.
We got 1.07/litre here which is $4.04/gallon CAD, then ya gotta figure currency...about $3.10/gallon.

congrats on the new project. just looked up the temp in your area. must be rough living where 39F is considered cold.
LOl

Of course, down here the skeeters are big enough to screw a turkey standing flat footed.

That will clean up nice Shade. It will be nice to see you tear into something that I'll be familiar with.
You should see them up north in the summer time. Biggest mosquitos I've ever seen were up around the Alberta/NWT border. Insane. Easy to kill though, they are pretty slow early in the season.

I wouldn't could standard as an oversize, what is that like 0 over lol 0.25 is 1 size over, 0.50 is 2 sizes over, 0.75 is 3 sizes over, 1.00 is 4 sizes over. After that is buy a new cylinder sizes over....although I know you can do 3mm overbore without a sleeve because that's what the old HL 506.5cc big bore kits were.

Yes they ran hot, most of HLs big bore kits for the air cooled machines ran pretty hot. I said you can do it not you should lol. Air cooled your probably safer just doing a high compression piston but nobody makes them for the 500.

Bummer sorry to hear, but glad to see you're back on track.

Oh BTW you're a celebrity here at the local Honda shop. I was asking questions about something and tech shows me "how this here feller done it!" said OMLol!
lol, well..i don't do every thing strictly by the book ?, but !..what I can do, and will do ?, is make sure it is close enough to being perfect !..lol. some things I can cut corners on ?, AND SOME THINGS SIMPLY CAN NOT HAVE CORNERS CUT ?!?.
Where does the book say to spray Wal-Mart paint on everything? lol:icon_ poke::ph34r::icon_ nono:
