Hey guys, this question may irritate the purists, but I recently acquired an 88 TRX300 2x4 and wondered if plastics from other years will fit? The plastics are completely rotted and shredded, about 50% just plain missing, and new repro fenders are not in the budget. Does anyone know if newer plastics will fit, even if a bit of modification is required? There are 2 atv boneyards bear me that I’m going to visit this weekend, and I want to know what to keep an eye out for, in case they don’t have suitable plastics from an 88. Thanks in advance!

Plastics will fit. The fender to tank seam might not be perfect, and you might have to move mounting holes around, but they can be made to fit without much trouble.

I have later fenders I'll be putting on an 88 I picked up.

Great thanks Jeep. When I bought the 350D the guy gave me the 300. Someone gave it to him years ago and he thought he could use it for parts, until he realized almost nothing is interchangeable. He was happy to get them off his property, and I was hoping to get it going again, maybe for my son to ride when we go hunting and stuff. Thanks again!
