Hi Everyone,

Been looking around for a little bit. Just got into 4 wheeling, (don't shoot me) started with a Polaris 500, and a Polaris Sportsman 90.

Did just get a project Honda TRX 250 FourTrax (1985).

Will be looking for some help with the rebuild. Was able to find the shop manuals with your help. Will start working on it soon and will post pic as we go.

Yeah, that didn't come out stock like that. You can buy those to clamp on the shifter of any ATV.

The shifter was on it when I pick it up. The guy I got it from is a makeshift type of guy. Only does the minimum to get by.

welcome to the forums..those trx250's are some great bikes...they are almost as good as the honda 300's...if you take care of them..they will probally outlast you !..lol...i've owned a few of them..mainly restored-rebuilt them..damn good bikes !
