Hello all! 92' TRX300FW starter stays engaged until battery is disconnected. I tried a known good solenoid but, problem still exists. Mind you, this happens even with the key out of the ignition!
I've checked/cleaned & greased all the connections to the starter and the battery compartment. So, I'm leaning towards a short in the circuit (wires) between the battery compartment and the push button. Has anyone experienced a bad starter diode (looks more like a relay via the manual) located under the front fender? Any & all help is appreciated!
P.S. I searched the forums and found a very similar post but, the findings & solution was never posted. So, I know there's at least 2 of us out there who experienced this problem!
