Hello all. I just acquired my first ATV. It’s a 99 fourtrax 309 2wd. The neutral light doesn’t work. The starter button in turn doesn’t work. I replaced the neutral safety switch and have the same result. I am assuming that I have a short or bad diode/fuse. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Are there wiring diagrams available here?

starter solenoid would be bad is my guess. and you correct you, you have a '99 trx300 2wd, no such thing as a 309 ! ( i am sure you miss-typed this when posting ? ). test your starter while your at it !.
