Hey guys, I'm new to the forum. I have a 2005 TRX350TM Rancher that Im just trying to keep on the trail. Its currently running but on occasion it will have trouble starting. it will crank and act like it wants to start and get fire but stop. It almost seems like its flooding. I have a newer carb (OEM) and choke cable. fresh plug and fresh oil and air filter. I has been running fine up until recently. I can eventually get it started and it runs fine. Any ideas what may me happening or what i need to check? Thank you.
check to make sure your getting plenty of fuel from/through the fuel tanks pet-cock ?!. is the fuel tank venting ?. if the tank is not venting ?, what is going on is, what I call a vapor lock, or in this case, no fuel flowing from tank to carb .
