Hi folks, just an introduction of myself. I'm Tony from northern Minnesota, currently riding a 2013 rubi/foreman 500. Well not currently. Doing a fluids change since I swamped it yesterday.
Thanks for the add.

Welcome to the forums.. I’ll (kind of) second Shadys above post, i flush, flush and flush some more using kerosene or diesel followed by a few (often) oil and filter changes. Hope whatever you decide works out for you.

Welcome aboard and you will find some great folks here willing to help. That said and as stated by Shade, if the unit died and ingested water, then you have a real problem. Because it is a Honda, you can change the oil a few times and get this unit going, but that will be a false positive, because the "silt, etc." is everywhere within the block and after about 100 miles you will see the outcome of not taking it completely apart with a smoking unit....

I stopped it before she went under. Air box had a couple inches of water in it but when I took things apart later, I had one pipe clamp just out side the box that wasn't very tight. No water in the cylinder and the plug was good. Oil wasn't frothy.
