My name is Jamie just picked up a Honda trx. Need some help figuring out the year, and does anyone have any parts or know where I can get used stuff. Also need some help on adjusting/changing brakes and fixing electric ignition switch. Thank you so much

Found the tag, it’s a 1986 250 trx. Does anyone know or have any used plastics in good shape. Also good place to buy a manual. Brakes don’t work, I’m trying to fix for my son for Christmas

Here’s printed owner and service manual on fleabay.

You will want to perform all the service interval items, which includes drain and flush of brake system.

Get some Deep Creep, PB Blaster or other penetrating oil, some acid brushes (plumbing section), shop rags and thread antiseize compound. Start spraying bolt and screw heads now—let that stuff work in.

You will want to use your best fitting screwdriver to open that brake reservoir. Wipe out all that old fluid you’ll see some crusty chunks in there. That’s what you’re trying to get out you don’t want that stuff going down your brake lines. Ok if you want more on brakes you should start another thread.
