welcome Jobby...you'll find this is a fantastic, easy going, bunch here...lotta helpfuls and some enjoyable off-topics as well.

I'm one of the newbees yet myself, and probably have one of the most budget bikes on this forum...just glad to have one, have one that runs well, and seldom ask it to do anything crazy...but I love watching other guys jazz up their bikes, and show up on Youtube doing things that honestly wouldn't cross my mind to try on my bike/at my age.

oh..and I'm originally a buckeye myself.. East Liverpool down on the river born, and then Akron my early years.. Dad was with Firestone.
wound up in the sunny south after he retired...don't have the hills, so my old 300 isn't challenged most days here on my property.

Where did you get the front diff lock from? Is it a proper locker or shimmed up to be permanently locked?

samuk it's an actual locker. Replaces some of the clutch plates I think. I can't remember, I put it in probly10 years ago. Here is a link for one on eBay.

What's the 400AT "headlight mod"?

07-13 420 discs will swap onto that 400AT at the balljoints if you can find a set reasonably priced.
