Hi I’m Busa from Tx. I don’t own a ATV but am using the Honda Rancher 350 as a doner for a kid crawler I build for my kids.

I am building a new one for a guy in Cali. This one is getting the 2010 Rancher 420 with the electric auto. I am down to wiring on this thing and it is complicated. I will have questions before it’s done.

Agreed .... I'm curious as to the gearing setup.... I don't much about rock crawlers .. Except there usually geared very low.

My junk ipad wont open your link.... I'd really like to see what slammed saw!

Yes the transfer case has a high and low. 4:1 gears in tcase. The axles have 4:56 gears in them and lockers. It works really well.

Look up Kid Buggy Builds on Facebook. There are a few others building these.

Guess the shifter is a simple bump forward or backward to upshift/downshift?

Honestly the 420 engines put out a lot of power, but I'm not a big fan of all of the sensors and electronic crap on them. The transmissions are a bit dodgy too, especially 4th gear.

Awesome builds, from the PSC ram steering to the way you routed power through the axles and tcase.

I'm a Jeep CJ guy along with being a Honda ATV hoarder, so this is a great mixture of the two different groups.

You even got a good "kinda Jeep, kinda FJ40" look going on the sheetmetal.

I like it.
