Hi everybody, new to the forum thing never been a member on one before but I recently got a 97' 300ex for free from a buddy I work with. It had been setting for years , no plastics an was rolled so the handle bar was bent but I got it running pretty easily with so help from info on here so I decided to join. A lot of helpful people on here an I'm glad I joined!

Welcome Bammon , from the Deep South ! ------- to straight handle bars I have a
hand held conduit pipe bender that was my Grandfather's , Gramps must be looking out for me as it is the perfect tool to straighten out handle bars with

Thanks everyone! Im really glad i joined ive been able to find a lot of great info already. Fishfiles I dnt think these can be saved, whoever rolled it bent one side almost 90 degrees down lol an where you from in the south i was stationed in florida an georgia for a couple years an miss bein there.

I am in Louisiana , a used set of handle bars should cost too much

Fishfiles, I actually just picked up a set of plastics handle bar an tore up seat from a guy we just hired at work for 50 bucks!!! They were for a 250x he had at one time but said they bolt right up to the 300ex! Man I'm gettn lucky so far on this bike.
