hey guys-

i am a long time foreman owner, but new to the 400ex model. my son is tired of riding around on the "cinder block" in his words... looking for something used, but need him to have reverse and electric start. does anyone know what year these were both standard? any other info on what to look for (good or bad) on a used machine would be helpful

You could get a 300ex.Not really extreme or fast but it's not a cinder block.But I'd go with the 400 if I could.

I agree. A 300EX can be pretty fun if you're used to a Foreman, but the 400EX would be even better.

Yea the 400ex is a bit faster than the 300ex but with a little mods to the engine it will keep right up there with the 400ex....But if I was you i would go with the 400 its alot better-faster- and i have never had a prob with it yet and i have had it for 2 years. Welcome to the forums
