I think it's doomed if I'm honest, activity is at an all time low and all the long standing members don't bother logging in since the changes.
It's a shame really as I see all these new members not getting answers, the knowledge has gone with the long standing members.
It was the busiest forum online until the changes, it will be left to gather cobwebs until it nolonger pays I should imagine. Shame.

Yep, that's pretty much the answer..
Apparently member feedback is taken into consideration but the platform will not change, nor will there be any future option of a platform similar to classic.

guess I wasn't on the old platform long enough to get acclimated...this new version works fine for me..but it doesnt' seem to be an "improvement" given the state of art that is available..ie, look at where Twitter, instagram, facebook etc are able to go, and this format seems very thin as a user interface...but it does allow us to drop our notes to each other and talk about our toys...if it weren't for the brother/sisterhood on these forums... it'd be pretty lonely trying to bend an ear about ATVs to the average guy in the office, etc...they just wanna talk about their cool new apple watch or the latest iphone gadget.. I wanna talk about torque, fender flares, and all the crazy real world analog fun that can be had from turning a key on a honda.. yeah baby!!! format aside, it's good to be here..cause "ya meet the nicest people on a Honda"?

yep.. I've got one of their 8 watters as well.....local boys say it comes through nice n clear with just an upgraded extended whip in hand and I have a roof mag/mount to plug into when in the car...our local repeater lets me hear folks on their daily work commute chat time about an hour down the road...folks complain that they can be hard to program, but I think they are easier than the better quality Japan made Yaesu that I own when first putting hands on a radio.

had to check..cause it's been a while..but my Bao is the BF-FH8P (basically their UV-5R) with a bit more horsepower. supposed to be Chinese junk on the cheap and I guess for guys who meter em, they can see that the chinese aren't consistent in build to spec, but given that the radio basically lives in my car, tossed around on the floorboard, scorching summer heat, freezing winter temps and plenty of dirt...it just keeps turning on every day..go figure.
@SamUK looks like a lot of people are disgusted with the new format.

sad to see you and everyone else that I had the pleasure to meet ( sorta ?..lol ) on here go. it boils down to money over compromising. the owners have destroyed the best atv site on the net, what once was HOME and FAMILY to me ?, is now trashed. almost 10 years on here , went down the drain over money !. listen up @Admin, I GET YOU LIKE MAKING MONEY ?, BUT BEING GREEDY IS WHAT KILLED YOU, AND EVERYONE ELSE IN THE PAST !!!.
