Hi my name is John, new member. I'm on because I HV a + - 95 trx300 fw and having starter issues, quite sure it's voltage in battery. Also, being I just aquired it so cheap I could pass, I've discovered since delivery that the brakes (neither) work. Rear, can send pedal to ground and nothing, front sloppy handle, haven't gotten into that one yet and also need the CV axle for the left front.
HELP PLZ, starting first.

Thx guys, not sure what I'm going to do yet, I've already been offered right at 2x what I paid for it and 2 kawasaki bayou 300s, they don't run, will take both to make one, if they do that even, part of deal, so I took. LOL

stick with the 300 , I ride a 95 300FW and put it thru hell and it keeps on going , it is easy to work on and parts are available new , after market and used , ------ jump across the two big terminals on the starter solenoid , if it spins the engine then the starter and battery are good , if it don't then it is either the battery or the starter , if it does spin then it could be the solenoid , wiring , starter switch , neutral switch

Stick with the Honda, you have one of the best models made right there! If I'm honest (no offence to others) Kawasaki are bottom of the pile. I see the same kwasaki' for sale on eBayUK week after week, nobody wants them here.
Hondas on the other hand, well, they sell like hot cakes for strong money.

Honda will always sell better, they are the Chevy of Japan. They will Always hold value better, and seem to plateau after about 15 yrs of age and will bring that (whatever it is) in 10-15 more. They are a sound investment as far as an entertainment can by an interest. These actual make my # 73 thru77 bikes, of some shape or form, LOL.
