The 87 TRX350D is the second year for this model; note the CDI will only fit this model be very careful not to fit other CDI into this one. It also has that distinctive bumper. A few members here have experience with them.
I have an 86 TRX350A, which was the first year for this model.
Canada seems to have enjoyed getting an extended run of the 88-89 model TRX350D until 93—seems to be same parts
Only buy OEM parts and know that sellers will market parts as fitting 86-89 TRX350. Most parts will fit, but several critical parts are not interchangeable
