Hello to All,

In January I bought a new 2017 Honda Rancher 420 (DCT and IRS). I replaced my 2004 Rancher AT. I must say that I am not impressed with the Trans and IRS as compared to the 2004. But, it is what it is. It shifts hard and is more "tippy" in corners or if I want to slide the rear end around. Maybe the trans will loosen up over time. I do like the Fuel Injection. I now have a 2004 Honda CRF230F (like new, love it), 1991 Honda XR250L (love this bike but too hard to start and I am too old and short to deal with it) and a 2014 Polaris RZR 570.

welcome to the site and congrats on the new ATV
the new ranchers are on the full sized frames, so yes they are more tippy
and the shifting does get smoother as you get some miles on it, and then, even better after broken in and switch to some syn oil!
