hi- need help with adjusting lifters on a 1986 honda 250 4 stroke atv-any one know how?

Thanks again for all your help. I have been trying all day to get a site that could help me adjust the lifters on my quad. it was clicking so bad it was driving me crazy. we only use the quad for the woodsplitter and ilet the grandkids ride it cause i do not want them riding on our 04 as it is virtually new. the new quad we use for deer hunting as i do not want to drag out deer anymore. again - thanks
