Hey folks, just picked up a ‘98 Foreman 400. This site is loaded with helpful info. I’ll definitely be tapping into the resources here.

welcome to the site
keep an eye on the right side rear axle seal/bearings, they wear a LITTLE, let water in axle tube and Destroy the splines on the axle ruining it
seals and bearings cheap, axle NOT so much
if any slop in it, CHANGE them, !
also a good time to replace DIff bearings and seals too!
these are older machines, so, some TLC is always a good thing

Thanks for the tip, MrBB. I actually ended up doing quite a bit of front end work. The rear feel good and solid.
