Hi all, I am new to the forum and am looking for some help or guidance on my 06 trx350fm. Shifting is very difficult. When you do shift it feels like your slamming into the next gear whether up or down shifting. When I shift then hold the shift lever up or down, the atv continues to be in gear for roughly a couple minutes then will disengage. After doing this it shifts smoothly for a short period (10 minutes of riding) then goes back to hard shifting and slamming into gear. I have adjusted the clutch per the manual with no change in operation. Where do I start? Tia.

If you've already adjusted the clutch I would stand the wheeler up on it's rear rack and remove the front cover and see what you find. Sounds like something isn't right on the shift linkage under the front cover.

Thanks for the input. I have been the only owner on this one. With regular use. Has been ridden for hunting purposes and rarely pulled anything besides a garden cart. This issue started over the past 8 months. I have always ran amsoil, which I'm learning now may not have been the best option for this system. Any pointers on making pulling the front cover off as easy as possible?
