I hate to say it, BUT i LOVE my yamaha.
I ride an 02 Yamaha Blaster, A couple of things done to it, and an 06 TRX 250ex.

hey Austin, just wanted to point out a slight difference between the blaster and the trx250. Your blaster is a 2 stroke and the trx250 is a 4 stroke, u need to go against at least a 300 in order to keep it fair. My brother in law got a suzuki quadzilla 500cc 2 stroke and let me tell u it eats my bro's 450, I pretty sure he can race against 650s. The only advantage with ur trx250 is she don't brake down as often.

Welcome to the forums!! The 250EX is basically a bullet proof entry leved sport quad so speed wasn't a great factor. They can be made to go faster though...well a little..lol
