I’m new to this forum FYI. Anyway I’ve recently started my 2002 Honda 400ex. I bought it used with the top end wasnt bolted up and the owner said he did it because bike was producing too many smoke. Then when I worked on it, I found out it was the bore of the cylinder was to big for the piston, so the oil from the crank case was in the cylinder that caused the smoke. Yet I replace it with a new cylinder kit.
What I’m here is I never drove a atv before and I wanted advice how to properly drive like how to be in gear or where’s the reverse? Thank you for your time.

You need to get yourself an owner's manual, find a friend who rides ATVs, and perhaps even take an ATV safety course. The TRX400 is not a machine for beginners. If you have never ridden anything with a clutch, you will want to be very careful and never ride alone or without safety gear.
