I'm in the process of purchasing my first four wheeler. I'm looking at a 2004 400 Rancher 4 by 4. I've wanted an atv since I was a kid and finally have the reason to get one with a new hunting lease. Hopefully I can contribute to this forum and also get some good information to help me work on and fix up this Beast.

hate to maybe bust your bubble, but if this the auto trans set up atv, I would look else where, they are known to have issues an then get VERY costly to fix
most all honda atv's are good, but there are a few models that are NOT the reliable deals honda is known for
do a search about them before buying

ugh. I did some research and heard that the hondamatic is great and reliable? Its 14 years old and still working. I would figure it would have died by now if it was going to no?
