Tim park hear from buford G.A what I got a 87 250x that I picked up for 300 bucks had a busted crank case cover wore out axle and swing arm berings fixed all of that then it starts to smoke bad real bad ...

Wiseco makes a great piston kit, Powroll.com as a few, try Dennis Kirk also but take it from me bro don't cheap out, I just wasted about 5 hours of labor because i took the short road.

take trx's advice..don't go piston cheap..you may or may not come out in the long run..but..2 or 3 hours of cuss words ain't worth it..lol..go wiseco piston kit all the way..yeah..they are not cheap..but..if you install it right..and it runs right..it's worth every dollar for it !..make sure to coat your jug with fresh motor oil before you install the new piston and rings..makes it slide in alot easier, less chance of breaking your new rings this way.

Yeah, always try to use quality parts on an engine. You will come out a lot better in the long run. Weak parts in an engine just won't last.

I have a slightly used 76mm 12:1 piston, head and jug I can give you...lol Just Joking... It will be worth it to fix the engine these are really a fun ride.
