Welcome to the sie bro.

250ex is a nice sport quad alot of fun and very versatile in the trails. I would start with a FMF or HMF exhaust system a Dyno Jet kit and a good air filter like K&N or UNI then you got a 250 that has come to life I gaurantee it.

im thinking about the fmf...i have a fmf powercore 4 on the bike and it has a nice sound so im thinkin it will sound nice on the quad as well...as for the jet kit where can i find one? also i put in the new battery yesterday and it started right up but i was wondering if i should put it on a trickle charge or it should be okay. thanks!!

Google Dyno jet for the the kit and I have a power core 4 on my 250X it sounds really good IMO. As far as the battery it's always good to check the voltage before you install it that way if you do need to freshen it up you can and it won't put so much of a strain on your charging system.
