Hey yall. I wish that I would've joined this forum sooner. Lol. Anyways, I own 3 Hondas......2 Rancher 350's and a '86 TRX350, that I have been working on since November '17. I work 7 days a week, so my time is limited on every bike I have built. I'm at about 70% finished with the '86, but most of the "time consuming" work of it is done...Especially the wiring!!! Lol. The front fenders are almost finihttps://www.facebook.com/events/589140034819495/?ti=clshed. Just waiting on new hardware to arrive, and then I'll start working on the rear fenders.

Welcome to the forums.

You should do a thread dedicated to that custom 86 tank build.

Thanks fellas! Im finally free from work now (finally). 5 weeks straight without a day off. But I'll get out and about here soon and take some pics of what I've been doing here lately to the 86. It was almost a goner to the scrap yard back in November by the previous owner. Parts for this bike are incredibly expensive and very hard to find. Anyways, a lot has been done in the past few months.

I sure do appreciate the offer my friend! I have a parts bike as well, but there's not a whole lot left on it. I've been on the search today for a airbox. I've found a few on Ebayfrom $48-75. Other than that, I'm needing the black plastic on the top of the front fender. I pretty much just have the front fender, rear fender, and the left quarter panel. I'm still missing the trunk lid on the rear fender, and the right quarter panel, with the hole cut-out for the petcock valve handle. But if your needing some parts, then let me know and I will see if I have it. I'm very close to being done. I ordered some 14" wheels this morning and a new pair of 29.5" Snipers.

That's awesome! I grew up in Proctor and moved to North Carolina for several years, and then to Michigan! But a divorce landed me right back In Arky. I've been out at the lake now for about 6 yrs and love it. Ain't much changed out there at all. Lol

I haven't been to Horses and Harleys yet. Here lately I've done a lot more wrenching than I have riding.

Those plastic bits are gone on all of mine too, and unfortunately they tend to be the $$$ on ebay.

Let me see if I have an extra airbox around. I know some of mine didn't have them but I'm only trying to get two runners and have bought 6 partials. Three of them are out in the shop at the farm and I don't remember exactly what's on them.

..... them 29.5Sniper Xt's are aggressive looking , I am a Outlaw guy myself .....
I haven't had any Outlaws before, but like the way they pull on my buddy's bikes. But I'm saving the fun for June 23rd when our clubs River Raid trail ride starts up. Should be good and nasty for the Snipers to eat!!

Looks mean ---- so are you running spacers or are the rims offset , looks like the wheel base width is a foot more than stock ------- is it hard to do a u-turn
Yeah, they rub at a full turn. I have some 2" spacers I ordered that are suppose to be here Friday. The rears need to come out some more and the fronts need atleast an inch.

Wow , your tires going to be out there with 2 inch spacers ----- I looked at the pic again and I think it just looks wider wheel base because of the fenders -----looks like you are going to need a rain coat and some googles
