new ECU from bike bandit/ OEM or not???

i think my shift problem, 20000ES 450 is the ECU, so i got one. i went with bike bandit instead or honda east, because BB said there were 2 in stock. i figured the shipping would be faster. honda east said it would take 4 or more days just to process the order, holidays and so on. the BB part is supposed to be OEM part, yet when i got it, nowhere does it say honda. is that how honda OEM parts are anymore? no honda name on part, no red wing, no original honda, on sticker. i feel like its a part i got off of e-pray. nowhere does it say Honda with packaging. is that the new norm? :r_c:

i have learned a lot since then. i think now i got a honda part. it could be easier, if some parts were branded, instead of putting a label, on a box, inside of another box. then there is the me factor. i havent figured a workaround about that yet. :| //Ed

Every Honda part I've gotten has been in a Honda bag, or at least had a Honda sticker with the part number on it.

That's fishy.

That said, I don't think anyone makes an aftermarket ECU.

Weird.

I'm with jeep on this as well, every single oem Honda brand part I've gotten has always had a bag or sticker
