Hey guys, I just bought a 2007(new in the crate) TRX400EX that I will be picking up when I get back in March. I live outside of Ft BRagg, and there is a ATV park near me, anyone here ever go there?

Anyway, great to find a forum for yet another one of my Hondas...

Im happy with my '07 400ex, i think you will like it too, when its new like that, avoid high rpm revs and full throttle speeds, wait for the engine to break in a little bit. Welcome to the forums, thanks for what your doin!!! Im sure it isnt fun over there.

I plan on leaving it mostly stock. After modding my other Hondas, this one should stay simple. Aside from a set of Nerfs for safety and and airfilter(UNI) the only thing I can think it may need is a jet to tune, but since I am at close to sea level it should be good.
Oh, and I know its a sport quad, but ill be using it during hunting season, is there a company that makes a rack for the back or do i need to break out the welder?

Thanks again for all of the well wishes. As for the breaking in, I have already read that one...and I didn't need an article to tell me that, I grew up with Hot-Rodders and Bikers....The family motto should have been: " If it has a warranty, proove it"...

Thanks again guys! I think that my wife is going to get dizzy when she sees how much oil it takes at oil change time now with all the Hondas(and her Ducati). My wife deploys to Southern Afghanistan 3 weeks before I get home, so I think that if I can score a deal on a TRX300 before she gets home I may jump on it too....

Cool deal the trx300 is nice too check with DennisKirk.com - Motorcycle, Harley-Davidson, ATV, Dirt Bike, Snowmobile, PWC / Watercraft Parts, Apparel, and Accessories and see if they have any thing to hold your weapon of choice. The ones of us who are not military status really do appreciate the bravery that you, your wife and all of the other men and women who have chosen to protect our rights our land and our freedom. I think my motto would be: If your too close get a bigger gun. I like the warranty motto that's great!
Check with dynojet they offer a good set-up
