Hey all! I just picked up my first atv, a Honda trx420fa. I haven’t rode it a lot yet, or been able to go over it thoroughly, but it is cutting out when it warms up. I’m thinking I need to look at the fuel filter. Any other advise you folks can offer?

I'd look through fault diagnosis in the factory service manual before digging deep, you'll find it available on this forum in PDF format.
Fuel filter replacement is a good shout. I'd also replace the spark plug and spark plug cap.
Start with the easier, simple & cheap possibilities first. Change one item at a time.
Fault diagnosis is a process of elimination, it takes time..

What year is the Rancher? Where are you riding? Welcome to the forums...
it is a 2013, i forgot to add that! i will be riding on private property and around some national parks.
