Thank you for the add.
My nephew ask if I had his 4wheeler going lol. I purchased a 2001 Honda 90 for my younger brother back in 03. He enjoyed it for many years and something went wrong on his last ride. I have read about some clip jumping off track in the transmission.
So the 90 will start and when shifting into gear it will make a rattling noise and i will like to get it back up and running for my nephews to enjoy. Is this something that I can do my self. I'm pretty handy and can get into it with the right support lol
Can anyone tell me about how to fix it

It's manual. I think 3 or 4 speed

Welcome to the forums! Just be sure you got the service manual available (it's online for free) and be sure you got ALL the proper tools. Don't wanna get into it and realize you need another tool. Oh and keep your phone handy, the guys on here can help you out. Guranteed

If you have a decent set of hand tools with a decent 6 point metric socket set start a repair thread, either in:

We'll be hanging around to help you get it fixed. Since the bike has been sitting a long time be prepared to clean (& repair anything rotted) the entire fuel system. We can help you with that too.

You will probably have to split the case and replace a gear or two. Remember that the mating gear is usually worn out too. Not at the gear teeth but the spurs and slots.

I suggest just parking the unit in neutral, get some of the plastic off and give it some throttle and "hopefully" find the rattle. I assume you didn't wreck the nephew's Honda, LOL....
