Who has trails in their neighborhood? Post pics if you got them, I'll try to get some of mine later. Give some details! Ex: How many miles, key spots, terrain, ect.

Dang. That sound like quad heaven. I used to get the cops called on me for riding mine. Of course my YZ80 had a Pro Circuit exhaust system, man that thing screamed

We have about 1500-2000 acres of mountainside privately owned which has steep hill climbs where the gas line runs, wide trails, and some decent clearings for playing around, it ranges from mud to grass to rocks whatever you like....

Man you guys got it good! I have maybe a couple miles of actual trails, but nothing special. We found some more down the street from my neighborhood that are pretty nice, but I'm unclear how far they go. Recently been working clearing mine out a bit, it takes forever. Thank god most of the other trails are ok besides a couple small fallen trees in the way. Most of our trails are the covered-in-leaves kinda trails. But there is a spot where it turns a into cudzoo (spelling?) field on one side and some trails that cross a lot, kinda like a little place you can just race around. I'll try to get some pics if it isn't raining this afternoon.

Wow. That's good, even 3 or 4. I used to have a couple neighbors that rode, but they either moved or got out of it. I'm pretty much the only one left, and I sold mine :( But I'm trying to get mine and my friend down the street is looking at getting a dirt bike. I tried to sway him to the dark sid but his dad is a Harley guy and likes bikes more. Plus the crashes aren't as bad.

Where I live there are some short trails but they are nice. Most of the land owners are very nice, I've met at least one that was not and even he was Ok. Now it's deer season and I've been told to stay out of the woods except for Sundays until it's over. I was riding one trail and I ran across two teenagers I stopped and asked if they knew who owned the land and before I got the words out one answered and said his family did and ride all I want, thats how I like it. Have any of you ever had problems with deer hunters? Let me make this clear the deer hunters that use this land are very nice and they have been hunting deer long before I came along with a four wheeler. I have no problem staying clear because I never know when they are hunting. After deer season I can ride all I want anyway. How about the land owners has anyone ever been (thrown off ) private land? I respect peoples property but I didn't make the trails so someone else had to be riding before me.

I've never been thrown off land before but most of the land surrounding us is public hunting, so yeah I kinda have to lay low during prime hunting season. Never know when some idiot may be unloading a rifle in your general direction.

in VT where i live my town has its own ATV club called V.A.S.A with about 120 miles of trails. the class 3 and 4 roads can be used to travel, but the state owned roads can only be crossed but not travelled on. they are trying to get neighboring towns to open up some of their snomobile trails so that ATVs can be used to help boost the economy much like the snomobilers do. the decent cops wave when you go by them, but the rookies tend to slow right down and give you the look! unfortunately DEC 1st the trails close until early april. but that doesnt stop me and my buddies from getting together on a frozen lake and making an oval ice racing track!
