2006 Rancher 350 e/s. Was riding today. Display began to flicker off and on a few times. Bike died Would restart but would die like it was not getting gas. After trying to start it another time everything went out. No display no power to the e/s no lights. Checked the battery and have 12.4 volts. Checked all the fuses and they are good. Checked for fire through the switch and the switch tested good. Any ideas?

I know you said you checked the battery, but how old is the battery?? How often is the ATV ridden?

Remove the bolt from the ground cable on the motor near the starter, shine the metals up and bolt it back down. Then do the same to the frame ground on the right side next to the ECM. There is another ground on the right side of the frame in front next to the CDI. Clean both battery terminals/cables too. While you're back there, unplug the regulator/rectifier and dielectric grease that connector pair to keep those from corroding and turning green.

By the way... 12.4 volts in the battery indicates a weak battery. If the battery is more than 3 years old load test it and/or just replace it. The bike requires a battery in good condition... yours is not.
