I have a new-to-me stock 05 Rinny 650 with pretty worn stock tires. I think I want to stay with stock size to keep wear/tear down on components and I don't ride that aggressively. Mostly trails, woods work (pulling logs around) and sand. no mud.

I'm liking the looks and reviews of the Bighorn originals in stock sizes. Any reason to go up a size say to a 9 front and a 12 back? Looks like the 25's are going to get me a little extra height anywho. stock rims are OK, I don't really want to splurge for new rims!

Other tire thoughts for my application?

I'm new here, btw.

I have stock size ITP mudlites for my Yamaha bigbear. I like them Good in mud trails etc
We do yard work with it but we put the stock tires back on it. Its actually mine and dads quad. I have heard nothing bad about the bighorns. I have seen them on many quads and they apear to be a nice tire. I would stay around the stock size. just my opinion because I hate to Damage drive parts and fenders. Usually after market tires seem taller than stock.

Yeah, stay stock size. there is no reason for you to go up a size for your riding. The ITP Terracross and the Maxxis Bighorn are argueably the best all purpose tires out.
