ok heres what im in to i just put 400ex plastic on my 300ex everything went well did it in about 45mins the easy part now alls im trying to figer out is how the likes hook up both ends are different. what i need to know is whats high low and off and for each one what the colours are on the 400ex i know the 300ex thats easy just the colours and what they are for high low and off thanks

It's simple to figure out of you have a voltmeter, and if you by chance took a picture of the wires and lights on the new plastics before you installed them

I am going to assume you just have 2 wires comiing off the switch? If that is true you don't even need a meter. Just hook them up, test them, if they are backwards swap them.

In other words, the lights are likely grounded at the light fixture, and the 2 wires are going to switch between high and low beam.

that the easy part. on the 400ex wiring the white wire on the headlamps are low beam the blue is high beam and the green is grounds all connect into the switch.

thank u so much more pics up later when i get home should be a fun bike took me like 20 mins to do the plastic the only part on the plastic is in the front u have to make a braket to rase the 400ex plastic about 2 to 3in peace of what ever easy tomorrow i will post the pics up of that

The plastics look good man.I can't believe it only took 45 minutes.

haha ya im doing the lights tomorrow ya it was +5 here today but 5'' to a foot of snow here lol she will be fully done tomorrow with pics of the finsh and everthing i have left to do

ok things left and the only reson i didnt get it fully done i only head 45 mins because i had to be somewhere

i made the brackets under the front where the bar goes right a cross by the motor to rase it 3 to 4ins
and hook the lights up very easy my scale is out of 10 is 2 for the blood nuckels lol

Looks like the left front tire is flat a bit too...lol better pump it up.

the pics above were us see me taking the pics of the brakets u have to make ur own and raise it up about 2'' easy thing to do her she sits in the snow after taking it out for a drive the only thing i need is 400ex shocks now

the wires on the 400ex side do have three so do the 300ex side the colors match up blue to blue white to white green to green just cut your pigtail off your lights and cut the connector off the 400ex wire and butt splice back together your done!!! DON'T FORGET DIE ELECTRIC GREASE!!!!
