Hey fella`s..i just got my Modquad posi-locking nut due to the infamous 400ex nut bind..and it didn`t come with instructions. I`m lost..can someone give me some how-to on this thing? Thanx

I got the same locknut and in the same boat. Did you find out how it works?

It goes on just like the old on..

1. remove and clean the splines on the threaded collar
2. replace collar
3. thread posi-lock on till you can see the indent where the C-clip goes
4. insert C-clip
5. rotate posi-lock towards C-clip and use supplied tool to tighten
6. use RED LOCKTITE... the retaining bolts will back out!

I asked before trying to install..it`s not hard at all..if you cant get the old one off IM me and i`ll tell ya how i got mine off.
