I have a 1986 4 trx 200sx honda i redone the top cause it leaked oil but now it loose power the timing chain was turned back and took a link out of it and was idle but last week it out of no where it started smoking and now it wont idle it idles when cold but once it warms up it dies why and whats wrong with it

Is the timing set correctly? Is the jetting (in the carb) stock? Is the carb OEM or a new eBay/Chinese item?
If the timing chain was stretched badly enough to be able to remove a link I would first advise replacing it for a new one.
It’s very hard to know how to advise you without knowing more about your ATV, things that have been changed, mods etc etc

No mods at all and the only thing that been replaced was the top end

Have you done a compression test since rebuilding the top end? Did you have the top end bored/honed to match the new piston and rings?
Does it run any better or any worse with the choke on?

It was bored out and all the piston and rings were change and when the choke is on it doesnt really change just idles really high at first then once warm it just shuts off

Bored to take the next size piston I assume? Unless the timing is out it can only be a few things really. I’d clean the carb thoroughly and try again, set the fuel mixture as per the FSM.

Yes we put a bigger piston in it and ill do that this week end clean the carb thank u
