Hello folks I have a 2009 680 rincon. Went to turn on bike and have no electrical power on dash. When I turn ign switch I have no power. I replaced the ignition switch with new one and still have the same issue. When I turn on switch headlights do turn on but not the gauges. Bike does not turn over.

Checked the following:
Fuses in fuse box; good
kill switch; good

I did check with tester the fuses, with the switch in on and off position and the ACC fuse does not get power when I turn on the ignition switch. I jumped that fuse and the gauges turn on. I try to turn on bike but it just turns over but won’t start.

The fuse sockets might be corroded or loose it sounds like. Especially if the fuse box lid is missing? Sometimes a fuse will get a poor connection in its socket, causing the socket to overheat and loosen its grip on the fuse spade. Sometimes they'll be green with corrosion.

Clean both ground cable connections where they attach to the motor and to the frame as well. Nothing will work if there are any poor grounds.

Keep us updated if you can.

you did NOT state that you made sure battery is GOOD, as in load tested battery here?
SO< did you do this, as if not you can be wasting your timer on trying other things, so?? did you make sure battery is good and NOT just stuck a volt meter on it to see what a reading t says?? as that doesn't mean battery is good or not doing this ??
SO??

battery is good. the problem is when I turn the ignition switch there is no power to gauges and it won’t start(will not turn engine) but the lights do turn on. When all this started, the gauges would turn on and when I would press the start button, the gauges(dash) would turn off and I would have no power any where. I checked the battery and replaced it with new one, just in case. So I thought it was ignition switch, replaced that. Now, I don’t have power to the gauge and there is now power at the “ACC” fuse. There is power to headlights and everything else except ignition. I placed a wire to feed power to that fuse and the gauge turns on and engine turns over but does not start. Have not checked if there is spark at plug
