I know Hondas all have a 'tick' but is this said 'tick' or is this top end?
Anything to be concerned about?

Cam chain it is then lol. I already set the valve clearances, I also have a cam chain on order Main things is that it's not top end, that's what I was concerned about.

did you do the timing chain test , by removing the adjuster then putting it back into the hole and see if it hits the jug

I did sometime back yes, I can't remember what the verdict was though. I do have a cam chain though ready to fit along with clutches and one way bearing, I shall do this once my GR arrives though.
I was more concerned about it being a top end issue, I knew you guys would know exactly what it was

so are you going with 54% ? -------- the only thing I don't like about it is loosing the neutral light , I would never let my wife ride the blue one , if it is in gear and you hit the start button while giving it throttle you are off to the races ----wish there was a way to get the light back !

and now with reduction in my 450 I have lost the light on that one also

Yeah I've gone for the 54% from Jeremy Lee, @rodp said he'd seen a 74% GR available now for the 300's!!
Losing the neutral light does suck I have to admit, is there no way of fitting something in the case? It has to be ground out doesn't it I think?

Which GR did you go for in your 450?
