Help please! I have a 2005 FourTrax Rancher 350 TM. I have 2 head bolts that are stripped out and would like to replace them. They appear to be 6mm x 110mm...but I would like to get them a little bit longer to hopefully get a little further down into the head to get to some fresh threads. I measured, and it appears they can be up to 120mm long. I was wondering if anyone knew where I might be able to find bolts that would match these measurements? My local Honda dealer couldn't get them and had no idea where to get them. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

are the bolts stripped out in the lower part of the engine ?..or the threads stripped out on top of the bolts ?..if it's the long 4 bolts that tighten down the cylinder to the lower part of the engine..just double nut the stripped bolt, and back it out..try looking on ebay to find a batch of bolts..i see alot of them on thier all the time..you may even have to buy a used engine..and just take the bolts out to use them...if you can't find any on ebay...try a local salvage yard..get the bolts from them..now..if it's your head that has threads stripped out in it..try drilling them out..and going to larger bolts..most hardware stores carry metric bolts..i know stanely hardware stores carry these...as for honda dealers not carrying them..or don't know where to get them..thats bs..lol..i know my dealer can get just about any thing i need...this is to say they still make them ?.

If it's the 6mm X 110mm bolts, it's not the 4 main head bolts, it's the two small ones on the side that twist off a lot of times. They break so easy, I'm not sure how they stripped, they usually twist off on me when taking them out.

I don't know where you would find any longer than that, but if you could find some metric allthread, you could cut them to length and and screw them down in the hole and just put nuts on the ends of them.
