My son has a 87 honda fourtrax 250x we need a fuel shut off valve. His is cause fuel to leak down on the motor. Any suggestions.

That fuel petcock is not just for that quad, it was installed on models up to 2006, you can always call them during the day and order it if you in the US

You will need to order the whole assembly, not just #7, you need #2

From the prints it looks like it just threads onto the tank, so it shouldn't be too hard, just be careful putting the new one on, don't over tighten it and split the white metal.

There are a bunch of new and used on fleabay too. If you are concerned about not installing it properly the take it to the shop—they could probably do it charge you half hour for labor
