I am looking at 2019 ranchers and foreman’s and can’t decide what tire to go with I really like the Sti outback maxes but will I be able to turn those is be going with a 28inch

On hard or moderately muddy conditions yes, in deep cloggy peanut butter mud, NO!!

To use in any condition don't go larger than a 26" tire unless you have a GR.

He also said The Foreman would a gear reduction still be needed ,since I hear they are geared lower than the Rancher?
