I am going to buy a honda 300 4x4 its a 1988 with 27 zillas and has "no issues" just want to know what to look out for when i go see it.

Take a 17mm 6pt wrench/socket with you. Check rear diff oil and t-case oil. The rear diffs are notorious for going out. If you can lift the rear end off the ground check for play in the bearing on brake side, its usually first to go out and puts stress on diff bearings. Other than that the normal stuff, front wheel bearings, play in steering and abnormal engine noise.
