Just started looking for an ATV and I am very interested in the fourtrax. I live on a pretty steep hill and I wanted an ATV to plow snow and haul a trailer and pull the kids on a sleds.
-if you have used a snowplow (I like the WARN also), have you had any trouble plowing up a hill?

-Maybe there is a better model suited for this other than the fourtrax

If going to Honda dealers, are the prices including plow, towing etc and the ATV negotiable like that of a car? If so, is there a website that shows invoice pricing?

All prices are negotiable. By fourtrax, what size do you mean? If you want to plow on a hill, I would recommend you get at least a 500, which would be a foreman class machine.

You can go smaller but that would require a smaller blade width of course, but then you have to factor in the hill. Be more specific about the hill and distance you need to plow.

Couldn't you just plow down the hill. Maybe plow one side and then drive back up the side you plowed. Then plow down the other side. I would be sure to get a 4X4 or I doubt that you will be doing any plowing. I would agree with Pain. Get a Foreman.

i have a trx200sx and i have a plow for it i can move the snow pretty easy as long as its not a heavy wet snow. but yeah i,d get a 4x4

I am very impressed with the Rancher AT 420 FPA 4WD

looking at a manual 52" plow and a hitch on the back. I have approx 800' of drive uphill. I figured I could plow downhill if too steep.

I'v been to a couple dealers but I am finding it harder than car buying. The first place wanted to sell me the "best" deal in the place instead of the Rancher, then they priced an electric powered plow. (because that was what they had plenty of stock of)

I did not realize that it cost so much extra for them putting on a plow. Is it worth a dealer installing it?
