63 pages of food and bs. mostly just good eating. the bs-ing is between members and for/with fun...
Interesting thing about the old AC 300's....they have disc brakes all around, IRS, and high/low/super-low. They also have selectable 4wd, AND they actually have a diff lock in the front diff, but you have to do some modifications to actually use the diff lock on the AC bikes. The King Quads had the 2wd/4wd/LOCKED 4wd capability, while the AC just had 2wd/4wd, but the 4wd LOCKED is there (same front diff) you just have to do some work to get it functioning.
Father in law has two of the late 90's AC 300's. They were way ahead of their time as far as options go, but are a MAJOR PITA to work on, and the dang parts for them are $$$.
They're as bad as the 350 Ranchers with sticking carb floats, and when they overflow, the gas all goes in the crankcase. A new AC 300 carb is about $400-500 too, so leaky carbs on them isn't a cheap or easy fix.
welcome to the site
and I will say this a LOT of the early Cat's were over built and lasted a LONG time and many are still running just fine

I have a buddy who rides old school Artic Cats , he has at least 3 different models and I have rode along side of him many times , he is a very cocky kind of guy , ex-sheriff LOL , he talks a lot of poopoo about Cats being the best ATV out there ------ the only bad thing I seen was they break axles alot
I am Mike from central Oklahoma, just off old Route 66. I have been lurking around for a while and found lots of good information on this forum.
I currently have a '04 Honda Recon ES, 07 Honda Recon ES, '07 Honda Rancher ES, and a 2016 Honda Pioneer 500 side by side.
I have been riding Honda...
Picking up a '20 4x4 ES this week. Will mainly use for plowing and will be installing a KFI kit with winch. After 3 feet of snow recently was tired of shoveling lol.
