For some reason the outer O-ring for my fuel pump does not fit and all I did was take it out when I was checking the pump and changing the fuel filter. It's too large to fit in the housing now. Any ideas on what I can do to make it fit again without having to go get a new one? I want to ride tomorrow and all the Honda dealerships are closed until tuesday :(

Sorry, but I don't know of anything you can do but buy a new one if you can't get it back in. The same thing happens when you take the fuel pump out of the tank on an automobile. The o-ring between the top of the pump and the tank will be too big too, so the gas must make them expand or something.

Yeah, that would work. I never thought about doing that.
