i am about to go to the powersports institute a branch of otc. im going there to learn how to be a full atv tech but have a few questions. first before i go to school im looking to to and internship somewhere but have no idea how to get one....anybody done it or have any info that could help me out?? after i do an internship for a little bit ill leave and go to school and after i graduate they have career placment help and said they could help me get into mx but it just sounds too easy to do a little training then go to school and land the mx job i want. does anyone know how hard it is to get into a career like this and also if you have any tips or can help give me some info thatd be awesome so please reply if you know anything

they may help you find a job but I doubt that they are able to place you on an MX team's crew. It takes a lot to get to that level. Either a company needs to want you as a crew member or the rider wants you on the team.Best bet is going to be finding someone on a race circuit and get your foot in the door.

An they want someone with a lot of experance that can do it all and do it fast, get your training and some work experance and go to some of the AMA Quadracing sites and put some posts up lookin for a job, Joe Byrd was lookin for a tech last year had a post on exriders.com.
