Been looking at tires to buy, I've always loved the mudlite as it does good where I'm located. I've always have had the XL's but now since they've come out with the Mudlite 2's I wonder if anybody has tried them out?? 📝
My buddy has the mud lite 2's.
To me they are way better then the XL's, I wont buy the XL's but I'd buy the mud lite 2's.
The tread is closer together, the profile is flatter and the side wall is stiffer/tougher, all these things make them a better trail tire that still works ok in mud.
As an all out mud tire the XL's are a little better tho.
This time last year when I was purchasing my 2021 rubicon, I had actually ordered the mud lite 2s to go with it. Unfortunately the dealership couldn’t get any in stock but had no issues getting the mud lite XLs, so I went with the XLs. I do recall the 2s had a more aggressive tread than the XLs. Moral of the story is not find out what’s available first, then decide.
I had mudlites xl's on my old atv I had when i was younger and went on countless rides in the mountains and never had any punctures. Just gotta watch where your going and doing.
