I've got an oil filter for my Rancher that was described as a Moose stainless steel reusable oil filter. Anyone have experience with this filter?

Run away from it... don't walk, run... buy OEM Honda OR a major filter manufacturers paper oil filter only. FYI: Everything Moose puts their name on is rebranded cheap china garbage.

I personally am NOT a fan of reusable oil filters, as unless you get everything OUT., which ain;'t easy to do if not impossible!
your defeating the point of a NEW oil filter at each oil change

I'm fine with washable air filters LOL
but oil filters , there cheap, buy them in bulk, and you get way better pricing!
not worth the gamble IMO?

I’ve always used K&N or Hi Flo oil Filters. The Moose came with my Rancher and I’ve never used it.
