ok so my mom dosnt want me getting a new cam, she dosnt want me realy doing anything to then motor other than jetting, which is required when i get my exaust, but i can get a aftermarket cdi. so i have 3 questions. What is te best cdi for a 07' 300ex that is 80-90$, and what should my jets be since i have a uni air filter and getting the fmf powercore 4 full system, and im not removeing the lid on my airbox, i will drill like 4 1'' holes though. and what other mods can i do?

could change your front sprocket up one tooth for topend speed or down one for torque.usually only need to up the main jet one or two sizes with exhaust.smaller tires help out torque or taller for topend.i know some rev boxes dont have a reverse rev limiter to.with the sprocket you will notice the difference and theyre under $20.

I read somewhere that most CDI's, regardless of the name printed on them, were made by the same company(Dynatek). I don't know how true this is and I can't remember where I read it, but I know I read it somewhere. Just thought I would mention that.

Basically, any CDI box that looks like the revbox, just different label is a dynatek.

Any 300ex cdi that increases your timing curve and rev limit will help. You can also get a higher sparking coil. And you may want to drill more like 6 1 inch holes in the box lid and you'll need a 40 pilot jet and probably a 128-130 main.

Nothing that duct tape across the top can't take care of. On muddy/wet days I cover most of it with duct tape.

Yeah or just buy yourself an extra air box lid for wet and muddy conditions.
