Made the 1.5" custom snorkel today.. Used the fuel petcock hole to exit plastics, with a rubber elbow at that point so I can remove it to take off side plastics for oil changes, cleaning, etc... Painted it white to match machine.. Sealed up air box, etc, but still have to run lines.. I can only locate 3 vent lines ( not 4 cuz I think because its IRS?) Only 1 rear line. Seen a fair amount of a "power band" change.. Don't know if I gained HP, but it does seem to accelerate faster... Not too bad I think for my first snorkel.. It must be air tight cuz Engine dies within 5 or 6 seconds at idle if I cover snorkel.. Dies faster if i give it throttle.. And after it dies it maintains its suction to your hand for well over a minute or 2...

Man that looks great! I am fixing to start mine soon. picked up everything yesterday. I am gonna try for a two snorkle setup to compensate for the pipe and programmer so here goes nothing.

nope...only thing now is fender bag wont fit, but I quit using them a while back..found myself putting junk in there I didnt need, was just adding useless weight..lol
